THE POWER OF MEDIA & CELEBRITY NEWS
Years before the Internet, people found out celebrity gossip and community info through the major news outlets, newspapers or even watercooler convos at work. But as years have passed the process of communication has developed in so many ways that gathering information these days is as easy as having a cell phone or wifi access. Literally Everything is online and if it is not able to be researched online most likely people will say it is not true. Whatever "It" may be.
The new communication style is great (especially Topnotchnews.com/TV) as it allows media outlets to relay news to their viewers and fans and a more expeditious manner. The downside to these quick announcements is that sometimes the information posted has not been fact checked and can and in most cases come back invalid or only half truth.
I see alot of this happening now like in the instance of Jamie Foxx. At this point, I am unable to gather what is going on. Media says please pray but his daughter Corrinne has posted that it's all lies and Jamie is doing just fine playing "pickle ball" somewhere living his best life.
This is what smaller outlets like myself face so much backlash by reporting to my readers what the mass media has published. So I am going to stick with hearing it from the horses of "celebrity's" mouth or themselves.
