How Important is Branding For Your Business?
In today's business world, figuring out the branding for your business is one of the most important parts of getting started and gaining customers and clients. This has been something that I have dealt with for a very long time. Being that I initially started as an artist and learned all the skills to help build my career, you would think I would fall under Entertainment consulting right? Well, over the years through assisting others on their journey to success, I have had the opportunity to branch out into marketing, development and staffing.
Adding more services under the Top Notch Global umbrella was good for business, but how does someone that does everything, brand their business to reflect all that they do and under one umbrella, without confusing the potential client. And I want to help someone ahead of time. IF you have one business, branding should be pretty easy, stay on focus of the service/ product you offer. make sure that your visuals are interesting not too long, you know the basics.
But in the event that you have multiple services and you are the one doing them all, the best option at this point is to separate them by business category. In some cases you will be able to cross brand with your different services, but Note that if your customer is viewing your website and at any point becomes confused or believe that your business is not legit, they will leave without further investigation. So when it comes to marketing your services, the best option is to separate the companies so that you don't overload and confuse the potential customer.
Time consuming? Yes. But overall the best option for business. I have learned that the first step is gathering the customers attention through advertising and once they click that link for furhter information, its best that the information is clear because once the customer/ client becomes confused, they will leave and that will be bsuiness lost.
So keep it simple. Build different profiles and link them together under one site or corporate profile. An option to keep all of your links and websites for the different businesses is a general website landing page or a linktree profile. Then as an entrepreneur let all business start at your linktree page.
