Lizzo in the Rolling Stones Article

The Internet has been going crazy for the past few days as the news was announced that, singer, body positivity mogul, Lizzo, who is known for her hit song, SpecialGood as Hell and more is Making Headlines for Body Shaming & Sexual Harrassment accusations being made by some of her former dancers who were chosen from a reality show, Liz O's Watch Out for the Big GRR LS, where Lizzo does a dance search to find her top dancers to go on tour with her. Arianna Davis and Crystal Williams are two ladies who were chosen and also terminated by Lizzo for dissatisfactory work according to the star, but the dancers feel different and they have not only filed a lawsuit against Lizzo but have also been interviewing, explaining their part of the story saying that during rehearsals and team meetings, Lizzo would body shame them and put them in awkward party situations where they felt uncomefortable & sexually harrassed. You guys have to get ready for this. I am going to try and give you a nutshell of what is beign reported, but the story unfortuntely continues to grow.

Former Dancers, Arianna Davis and Crystal Williams on Inside Edition

The dancers state that there were concerns from Lizzo about their weight gain and they were told  to participate in after parties that made them feel very uncomfortable. But things begin to get confusing when they also told Harvey from, TMZ that the assaults were not direct, but indirectly stated and they felt an "energy shift". Also prior to the ladies termination, they were advised by Lizzo that they were partying too much and they felt that it was unfair that only a few people were chosen to go out and hang with her but that had to be "Down for Whatever".

After hearing the interview, it seems that the ladies just did not understand what they were signing up for with the entertainment industry having strict rules, scheduling and networking. With them stating that there was never any direct assaults, it sounds like, the opportunity just didn't work out. But, the plot twist is that several former employees are joining to support the dancers and speak out against One of the World's Most Loved Celebrity. This is very unfortunate as it is hard to tell if the ladies just did not make the cut and had to be let go from the tour, or are there real issues with working with Lizzo. Especially, now that others are coming out in support of the dancers and saying, Lizzo and her team are in fact, very rude to them at times when they worked with the star. Some of the other former employees that have come out in support of the dancers are, her Former Creative Director, Quinn Wilson, Filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison,

This one is hard to deal with, but I will definitely keep you in the loop. Let me know your thoughts. Do you feel that the rumors that the ex employees are saying about the entertainer is true, or do they need to understand the business a little more? Leave your comments below!
